Al-Aqsa mosque was first built by Adam just after 40 years of building the scared mosque by him in Mecca as stated in the hadith.
I am at work I am almost certain the hadith does not say Adam, It is Ibrahim and then Yaqoo b forty years later. There is no evidence that Adam built the Kabba. There is a difference of opinion as to whether he built it at all.

The hadith talks about the relationship between Al-Aqsa and the Sacred Mosque in Mecca but it didn't state who was the one who built Al-Aqsa. Nevertheless, most of the scholars stated it was built by Adam.

What do you think?

Abu Bakr swore not to help Mistah again after that fiasco. WHat was the ayat in connection to this oath?

Surat an-Nur (The Light ) 24, verse # 22
"And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give (any sort of help) to their kinsmen, Al-Masâkîn (the poor), and those who left their homes for Allâh’s Cause. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allâh should forgive you? And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (24:22)

Asalamu alaikum, What about the Quran Allah says that he raised the foundations of the house. There are other hadith about him constructing the house of Allah. Now there is also the hadith where in Sahih bukhari in the book of hadith by Abu dhar 585. where he states the time. Now the majority of scholars say that this is an evidence for Ibrahim to build it and his son to build Al Aqsa. but some say Adam, some say the angels did commanded by Allah and some feel He did it Himself. but as I said the majority of scholars of seerah say it was Ibrahim. but the place was holy from before.
