Wow, you are the first person to post an actual news article. Thank you very, very much. This of course confirms every spurious and unresearched post including the OP. Now that we are on page 7 I have to wonder though why nobody led with something that had some journalism behind it.

This article says that there is a 240 page report by the group Breaking the Silence. It says during Operation Protective Edge (2014 Israel–Gaza conflict - Wikipedia). Here is a quote:

“The guiding military principle of ‘minimum risk to our forces, even at the cost of harming innocent civilians,’ alongside efforts to deter and intimidate the Palestinians, led to massive and unprecedented harm to the population and the civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. Ok wow, well its interesting but not the topic of the thread. The topic of the thread is something else entirely, saying that IDF snipes at civilians in towns. The OP made zero attempt to confirm their rumor before dumping it into the bilge. Nobody led with any facts. Nobody gave a damn about creating peace through truth. This thread was about getting people angry using unconfirmed rumors. The article you posted would merit its own thread, but its really too factual for this one and also too late.
