How come @Terese is so much better looking than my painting of her! What's with that?

I TELL YOU IT DAMN WELL ISN'T FAIR!

She does nothing --- absolutely nothing --- to improve her naturally good looks while I labored hard to paint something more beautiful than her --- and what happens? My painting STILL isn't better looking than her!

I swear I am going to sue God and name the Pope as a co-defendant over this one! They ain't getting away with it! Neither one of them! It's a miscarriage of justice if I've ever seen one!

I'd simply suggest a painting is a mere replication whilst the original has a beautiful soul.
Which does make me wonder whether some sort of dark magic could steal her soul and infuse it in the painting?
