wow. shock and awe? I will have to admit, I have not had the pleasure of hearing angels sing, although I would like to.
Just the singing alone was enough to make me want to be in that place...

Seriously it was like a Newsboys concert only it sounded like eight of them were singing. We were singing a familiar hymn, "Love at Home" or something like that on Mother's day and the sister of a well known LDS opera singer was singing, and she has an amazing voice, as does her brother, and then the angels kicked in and it was like they were saying, this is nothing, listen to us. It literally shocked me and it went through me like an electric current. It lasted only a few seconds and that's pretty much all anyone could handle of that, because you would fall out under the spirit and I don't think that would look too good if I passed out at church. People would have called 911. I've heard what real singing sounds like, and seriously these guys, the Newsboys are pretty close too it, when heard live...

My wife heard the singing too, after asking her after church. I was surprised she had heard it too, but it confirmed to me that I had heard something unusual.

There is a song by the Newsboys called "Believe" that is amazing.....Can't find a link yet...

This guy's sister was singing when we heard the angels singing.
George Dyer - LDS Musician

Her name is Elizabeth Dyer and I lived in her basement for quite a while and she has an amazing voice and used to sing some amazing Christian contemporary songs at church and I used to love listening to her. Never heard any LDS singer better than her.

I met George too and worked with him and his sister selling copiers of all things. He had to make a living doing something until he made it big in his own right. He has worked with Lex De Azavedo and is an amazing singer.
