I work for a pretty large software company, with tentacles all over the place. Apparently, they're currently looking to encourage a little international cross-pollination.
I'm assuming this means chances to work in other countries, rather than literally cross-pollinating with the European staff.

So...roll up, roll up...

Who wants to suggest their locale as a place I should consider?
More importantly, who wants to offer me a bribe to move the family to your locale?
More realistically, who wants to offer me a bribe to stay away?

(The list of countries is theoretically 'All Developed Countries', so I ain't posting it here. But specific cities are limited, so tell me a country and I can clarify where it would be. Interested in local opinions on these places, in truth. Good, bad or indifferent.)

New Zealand is out though. We service them from Australia, and I have lived there for 2 years previously anyway.

Yeah....I am grateful to live here......what about you? They are targeting any country that sees them as idiots...I wonder how many countries that is? The thing is, when it comes to the suicide bombers.....you have to wonder what could make a woman want to blow herself up? Does she get to have her choice of virgins too I wonder?

Many years ago the company I worked for sent me to Japan - I recommend it. I doubt they're still around, but dining at a Tex-Mex run by Nigerians in Tokyo was an experience. Also, on my first day when someone said we're going to lunch, I working away, somehow was smart enough to realize that WE were all going to lunch together, down to get our box lunches and eat together. I also recommend the Hakone Open Air Museum.

I've also visited India and recommend it for a cultural adventure.

I would consider Hawaii if I were you. You'll be within flying distance of 'Home', and they probably have decent schools (though you should check on that).
