A lot of people think they need to find their place right away, I've been off he forum for quite awhile. Actually I nearly forgot about it existing. I have been a European Pagan, for awhile now, but let me tell you all, that doesn't mean I've settled down. I still find myself looking into things like Orthodox Christianity and Ibadi Islam. I find myself most drawn to those and the Paganism I follow, but it's a tough road. I don't want anyone thinking it's easy, but I dont want anyone to think it's dire to find out where they belong right away either. :) I miss this forum, and would love to discuss my thoughts on Paganism, Christianity, and Islam (nicely as always), anyone up for it is welcome!

Orthodoxy I love, and Heathenism. But also Zoroastrianism might be one for the mulling over ;)

Take your time, I took me about four to five years to see what religion is right for me and I strongly believe in. :D Hope you'll find the truth.

I've done my fair share of bouncing around. It's no bad thing to be drawn to compatible aspects of different religions and make your own home-brew. For me it turns out to not work, but that's just me. Others make it work very nicely.

Oh I know! Haha I love the discussion though. I looked into Zoroastrianism, not really for me in the long run. I think thats what's holding me back from religions like Christianity or Islam, they're major life changes, where as Pagan traditions have always felt home like to me.

You always surprise me that's for sure! Ahha, I'm glad you feel at home though.

European Paganism is simply I follow a mishmash of European Pagan faiths like Asatru, Celtic, Rodnovery, Romuva, etc

I have a hard time keeping up with the Celts alone, they have a lot of God(ddesses). Most of those sort of mingle and cross-fed each other anyway. I prefer simplicity. :)

Indeed. I consider myself a Seeker as of yet. I've found areas I feel comfortable in but I don't really know if I've found my home yet.

It's actually best not to think about it too much, and listen to the inner voice. It'll take you where you need to go if you pay attention. :)

I agree simplicity is nice. As you said they're cross fed. So I use a single set of names unless I'm directly worshippin a highly specific deity.

So much rules... :) Heathenism isn't too bad, but most of those around here are Odinist white supremacists. :( That's my sign to steer clear. :)

Haha, oh, white supremacists? Idk if I'd say that unless they're tattooing swastikas on themselves, but I wouldn't know, xD

Might be a local phenomenon, not that I can say. I just find it a strange association altogether.
