What are your favourite Buddhist tales previous from the Siddhartha Gautama? And what is your understanding of them? Fact or Fiction?
Personally mine is about King Padmaka, because of his love for his nation and their well-being. I believe it also shows obviously his compassion vowing to commit suicide and to reappear as a Rohita and then to be captured to help cure his people.
I've spoken to various people about these stories and some people claim that maybe Jesus, was told these stories or was aware of them whilst he was in Kashmir within his 'lost years'. And that he may of used them for his own ministry. Yes i am aware that this is open to debate and i am not sure myself-yet i do not want to dwell on that subject (despite how interesting it is) . So back to the original questions...
