Jehovah's behaviour in Deuteronomy...

idea

Question Everything
Thats just not good enough.

One needs to have knowledge not faith to understand the history to help relate the context.

having a ghost hanging out with you while you read simply doesnt cut it  or give you a historical perspective. :sad4:

knowledge and history are not enough - the Pharisees / Sadducee had both of these - for them it was not a history lesson, they were living in the history -

Who teaches within the Bible? Who is it that understands? - prophets, seers, revelators - those who have the spirit with them. The Spirit is needed, that's why it's there for us.

Atheistically
knowledge and history are not enough - the Pharisees / Sadducee had both of these - for them it was not a history lesson

but much of the bible was written without them. They were short lived really and they have no bearing on this post

they were living in the history

almost none of the OT

Who teaches within the Bible?

many unknown authors telling fables through redaction and complilations of collections of writings that followed the changing cultures.

Who is it that understands? -

I do from knowing history, im still learning but have a decent grasp on the reality of the many books.

prophets, seers, revelators - those who have the spirit with them

you dont even know a spirit exist let alone say it is with someone.

The Spirit is needed, that's why it's there for us

No its not required to understand history
