Jesus , Krishna- which of the two is the supreme-god?

Jesus and Krishna both were just human beings and prophets, none of them is god or son of god or supreme-god. Please
Regards

This is also the Bahai viewpoint as well. The monotheistic Sikhs and Arya Samajis too see Krishna as a prophet.

Nothing wrong with the acceptance of Truth by Sikhs, Bahais and Arya Samajis. This also elevates prophet Krishna's status in the world.

Ahmadiyya is a version of Islam which is inclusive of all the revealed religions revealed on their founders in the origin in any region of the world but that got altered later due to debris of time but revived/refreshed under Ahmadiyya by G-d.
Please
Regards

I'm going to hate myself for letting myself be sucked in by the Charybdis that is this subject, but how many times do you have to be told by Hindus (y'know, the people who know their own religion?) that Hinduism is not a revealed religion? How many times? 10, 33, 67, 120, 1,015 times?

I am not sure about Krishna

3,100 years ago. Over 1,000 years before Jesus, give or take. Much of the Jesus birth, later life and some teachings from Matthew 5-7 and Luke 6 reflect Krishna. An argument might be made for the Jesus conception and birth story also reflecting the conception and birth of Siddhārtha Gautama, the Buddha. This really should come as no surprise because there was very active trade from the far west of the Roman Empire to as far east as China, through much of Asia, and even from east Asia into northern Europe. Ideas passed back and forth along with merchandise and people migrating.

Thanks, but there is nothing higher to which Krishna can be elevated.
How are you translating the word "shruti" in English.
It is not God speaking in Vedas but it is the voice of the heart (as they say), realization. Of course, some people take it as the voice of God.

Jai, your proposed time-line is off by 2,000 years. According to Hindu belief, Krishna avatara concluded 5,119 years ago (if that is what you were pointing at).

"According to Puranic sources, Krishna's departure marks the end of Dvapara Yuga and the start of Kali Yuga, which is dated to 17/18 February 3102 BCE." Kali Yuga - Wikipedia

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought making a buck off religion was idolatrous or something. We wouldn't want to turn something sacred into a tourist attraction ...

for many years it has been simply a pilgrimage site respected equaly by the local muslim comunity , ....what I find interesting is that it has been respectfully maintained and only recently has it become anything more than local knowledge , ..in otherwords I dont think that the locals have promoted it as a tourist attraction, it is still a very modest and simple place .

Namaskaram , ...

on the subject of Sruti , ....Sacred knowledge pased from one generation to another , ...revealed Knowledge , ...Sound , ....

Hate to tell you Guys but , .....listen to what Krsna says on the subject , ....

sri-bhagavan uvaca
imam vivasvate yogam
proktavan aham avyayam
vivasvan manave praha
manur iksvakave 'bravit

The Blessed Lord said: I instructed this imperishable science of yoga to the sun-god, Vivasvān, and Vivasvān instructed it to Manu, the father of mankind, and Manu in turn instructed it to Ikṣvāku. ...Ch ..4 V ..1

and fom that point through successions of kings and sages this supreme knowledge has been disseminated , ...becoming Smriti , ...remembered law or knowledge .

thus these divine laws pased at the begining of time are sruti , ...the Bhagavad Gita ''the song of the lord'' is sruti , .....

Smriti , ...remembered , retold , ..recounted , .....

The difference is that in the Abrahamic religions, God spoke in his own voice to his prophets, establishing all the laws and commandments in conversations. Though Sri Krishna spoke the Bhagavad Gita, it's one of myriad Hindu scriptures. And not all Hindus accept it or other scriptures, or even that Krishna is God. The rishis transcendentally, not audibly heard the Vedas after meditations over the course of years, and maybe centuries. There was no voice that laid out the entire religion in a short period of time. It may seem like a small difference, but it's really not that small. I hope that helps. :)

this is the hair spliting noncence that sent me on an away twice recently from RF , ....

''Though Sri Krishna spoke the Bhagavad Gita, it's one of myriad Hindu scriptures. And not all Hindus accept it or other scriptures,''

and from you who accepted Harihara , ...?

if this is what hinduism has become , then I am No Hindu I am Vaisnava Sanatana Dharmi , .....I am sorely agreaved that the the dissbeleif and ignorance of the minority of cultural hindu is sited with any seriousness simply to justify an argument ???

yes it is true that some hindus do not accept the authority of Krsna , it is also true that some hindu in their ignorance lie , cheat and steal , beat their wives , torture animals to indulge the sences feasting on their flesh when ever it pleases , .....they choose to do as it pleases them refusing to accknowledge divine truth , ....they dissobey Dharma they make mockery of our beloved faith , ....

thus Sundara Nataraja dances upon the demon Apasmara , the embodiment of ignorance !

If I may mention an example of what kind of thing Jainaryan is talking about - I hope @Vinayaka won't mind me mentioning that he has never read the Bhagavad Gita, as he is solely associated with a Shaiva tradition - but I don't think you'd label him as adharmic!
