Jesus Never Chatted

I once learned from fire fighters that a serious man can laugh and chat, but a grim man is too scared for either.

Indeed. You just misquoted and misused that John 21:25 reference. It only refers to Jesus' "deeds," and says nothing about His Words.
You didn't quote me, but I assume you're talking to me. You're right; the exact wording was "other things that Jesus did." So you apparently do believe that He did a great many things that are not recorded in scripture. You just don't think He said anything that wasn't written down and preserved? For a three-year ministry, He evidently was quiet most of the time. I mean, if you stop and read His recorded words, He evidently spoke for less than a minute or so each day.

Keep bringing your marginal ideas. I am here to help you, unless you are too proud to be helped. Are you?
Oh, I'm always willing to be helped. I'm far from perfect. But may I ask what your qualifications are?

So Jesus' every word and deed is recorded in the Bible?
Apparently He spent a lot of time doing and saying nothing at all; only rarely erupting in violence at temple, spouting the odd parable, healing a few people and cursing fig trees.

and never peeing.

Jesus perfectly peed. Better than you ever can do.

Lol.

So was Jesus an aspie and the apostles just his cover to satisfy his social needs by using the apostles as a means to help him get out and in social situations?
7.) Proverbs 13:3, "The one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin."

This shows Jesus never cracked any big mouthed open laughter, throwing His head back up to the sky.
I don't think I can follow a god who doesn't appreciate a good joke. Laughter is such a great thing - it's sad to think some people think god doesn't want them to enjoy it.

9.) 2 Timothy 2:16, "Shun empty chatter."

Jesus never spoke like a woman, or like a feminized male.
o_OYou don't get out much, do you?

Since Scripture is replete with the strongest of statements to show that Jesus never deigned to have chatted, this actually is not a thread for The Debate Forum. But, since I am the only one in here who uses Scripture to form my threads, to make statements, and to provide essential information, this will indeed become a debate. Lol.

Jesus is never shown in Scripture to have chatted with anyone. Webster's Dictionary defines "chat. n light, informal talk." Jesus never asked how anyone felt, how their day was going, never complimented them for anything superficial, never said "Please" or "Thanks," never filled in empty conversational spots with inconsequential blather, and never talked about small personal matters.

He followed Scripture as it then existed and as it would be written after His departure:

1.) Matthew 36:12, "But I [Jesus] say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement."

No Scripture says Jesus will ever be judged or have to give an account for anything He did on Earth. Therefore, He never spoke idle words.

2.) Proverbs 10:19, "In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin; but he that refrained his lips is wise."

Regarding any given issue, Jesus spoke only briefly, concisely, and germane to the issues dictated by The Father. He never spoke a multitude of words. All He is recorded to have said at any one time can be read within a few minutes, nothing like the 40-60 minutes taken every Sunday by Babbling Preachers.

3.) Proverbs 29:11, "A Fool speaks his whole mind."

Jesus never spoke all that could be said upon any particular topic.

4.) Titus 2:2-6, Aged men, aged women, young women, and young men are all instructed to be "sober."
1 Peter 1:13, 4:7, and 5:8 all have Apostle Peter directing Believers to be "sober."

Jesus is never shown to be joking around to be light, funny, or entertaining.

5.) Galatians 5:22, "The fruit of the Spirit is ... self control."

Jesus had total control of His mouth. He never said, "Oh! Did I just say that!? Oopsey!"

6.) James 1:19, "Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak."

This means Jesus never bounced back and forth in quick chat style like Church people do at their get together times, talking on the phone, and in their bye-bye times after Sunday church service. And, Yes, We all know Jesus did not use a phone.

7.) Proverbs 13:3, "The one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin."

This shows Jesus never cracked any big mouthed open laughter, throwing His head back up to the sky.

8.) Proverbs 17:27, "He that has knowledge spares his words."

Jesus spoke very sparingly.

9.) 2 Timothy 2:16, "Shun empty chatter."

Jesus never spoke like a woman, or like a feminized male.

In spite of what the vast majority of active and happy sounding effusive feeling Christians like to think, chatting is not essential for life. And, as such, Jesus was still the literal Life of the Party. People flocked to Him to see and hear Him. Nobody ever rudely told Him to "Lighten up!"

Do you abide in Him? 1 John 2:6, "He that says he abides in Him [Christ] ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked."
and in parable...I know you to be an austere man.....

so God and heaven....also His Son....have no sense of humor?
