its quite clear that jesus was a magician, nothing more, nothing less, many other magicians has proven this by doing exactly as jesus did, they just dont claim to be the son of god, thus they dont get crucified!

As you know from the other thread, it isn't clear to me at all. Any chance that you could break the habit you have so far established in posting in this forum and provide some evidence to substantiate your claims? I would note that you are claiming that Christ was a magician and the miracles were fake, not that it is possible for a modern magician to produce fake miracles that approximate the real thing. The latter, I do not doubt at all but it is not evidence for the former.

When was the last time Copperfield walked on water?

Oh, and I don't see Houdini raising from the dead.

magicians do not perform miracles.
Miracles are with out explanation and for the benefit of others

Magicians perform magic tricks for money.

It's far from clear that he even existed.

If you're expressing your opinion that he was not God/son of God/Prophet etc I agree. However you could certainly do more justice to the man than relegate him to mere magician. He did more than party tricks.

He was also politically subversive and a bit of a righteous rebel. He taught peace and love - not things to be scoffed at if you ask me.

Jesus peace be upon him was a true Prophet of God. All his miracles were true and real, for they are from God who is capable of everything.

As far as magicians go, I know of only one that has walked on water, Chris Angel. I do know of someone who also knows how to stage a water walk, and he even taught me how to do it. I would have a video of it, but the required materials are expenensive, and it's difficult to set up. Magicians have never really healed, save for some basic mental conditions such as eating disorders and smoking through hypnosis. Calming storms have never been done by magicians.

However, some of these "miracles" can be achieved, such as healing, calming storms, and others through rituals, "hands on healing", and other religious ways.

But please show more respect to an enlightened being/son of god/savior of man/however you want to view him. And please make more intelegint statements that can be proven. Stage magic can reproduce only one of Jesus' miracles that I am aware of, and it can't be done outside of a swiming pool.

If it's so clear, then you shouldn't have any problem substantiating this assertion. To date, I see no such offering. The lack of evidence suggests that you now realize that Jesus was much more. :cross:

i see jesus as nothing more than an excuse for christians to celebrate a pagan holiday such as christmas among other things, given the fact that time and dates wernt invented by man that far back i find it hard to believe that the date can be so acurate as to be the 25th of december, seems easier just to plonk it on someone elses date and tell them that they (pagans) are wrong and christians are right, again they(christians) should try again with a new religion that doesnt take ideas from others!

Your lack of knowledge about Christian origins and belief is shameful.

I don't believe he was merely a magician... he brought some wise things to the people around him, and anyone that encouraged nonviolence is okay in my book.

i know as much as to say that christians came to this country, told our pagans they were wrong and burnt them if they tried to opose them(the christians) and then stole dates off the pagans! as i said at the begining jesus was a 2-bit magician!

At worst, Jesus was like the Budda. A wiseman and teacher. Don't insult Jesus or the Buddha. If you do, we can't be freinds.
