Jesus will return in 2030

Omnipotence doesn't mean that God should do everything He can do and there is no reason for God to do what humans are capable of.
But on all the examinable evidence, God does nothing at all, which in my respectful opinion removes any basis on which omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, perfection (whatever that means), and the qualities of being eternal and infinite can be attributed to [him]. The same is true of all gods, of course.

Well I guess you got to give Christians credit with over 2,000 years of failed predictions that didn't dampen their spirits any.

The rest of us gets to see a prime example of the definition of pure futility played out in real time.
Most every generation of Christians has wanted to be the witness of Jesus' return. They always think their time is the worst in history, and ignore the truly terrible times that have occurred not that long ago. Talk about a greedy and selfish theology that is "all about me". Do they really think it's about Jesus? No, it's about them.

As a matter of interest, how would you verify that it is Jesus?

How old will he be?
Where will he appear (I hope it is not Gaza)?
What will he have to do to prove he is 'The Son of God'?
How will you spot an imposter?
How will he deal with the inevitable doubters?

I have no idea what God does since I cannot see God doing anything, but that doesn't mean that God is not doing anything....
The only thing humans have seen that God has done is sending His messengers/Manifestations in every age.
We have seen them, and I believe they are God's Representatives on earth.

“The Person of the Manifestation hath ever been the representative and mouthpiece of God. He, in truth, is the Day Spring of God’s most excellent Titles, and the Dawning-Place of His exalted Attributes.”

Then, dear Trailblazer, we must continue to disagree ─ respectfully, of course.

No. Its ability to do the impossible is the sole test of whether the power is divine or not.

So an omnipotent divine entity can make a rock so big the same divine entity is impotent to lift it? That's a real oxymoron you have there: omnipotent impotence.

A Rabbi of my acquaintance says that the Messiah will come when we, by our own efforts, become worthy to receive him.

That's my words not his, but I think it's close to his meaning.

Well she's not a rabbi (that I know of) but @IndigoChild5559 is Jewish. And it was her that noted that Christians have been predicting the return of Christ for 2000 years.

I wonder if the rabbi of your acquaintance would say it's possible Messiah never comes if we're never worthy to receive him? Would IndigoChild5559 second that enigmatic notion?

Jesus didn't come in 2030. That was before he was born which was circa 3756. You do know he used the Jewish calendar, right?

But when you're not only omnipotent and omniscient and eternal and infinite but also perfect, how can there be anything you can't do?

Why, the very concept has already abandoned all notions of reality! Just like God!

Okay, let's talk about my personal views, which sync up far better with Conservative Judaism and Reform Judaism.

Although Orthodox tend to see the Messiah as a single person who will rule during the idyllic messianic age, we other religious Jews tend to see the Messiah as a metaphor for the actions of human beings that will bring about that age. Thus, the messiah exists in every age.

And according to Bahais, he is that uneducated 19th Century Iranian, 'place of all his exalted attributes'.
And who says that - the Iranian Trump himself.
Self-praise: boastfulness, bragging, conceit, egoism, immodesty, pride, self-aggrandizement, self-centeredness, vainglory, vanity, arrogance, narcissism, self-absorption, self-admiration, selfishness, vainness.

Is Benyamin Netanyahu the messiah? He is destroying a lot of people.
