They just convince themselves of that thinking it's something really there.

Obviously having a feeling of presence is not something unusual , as people have those type of feelings all the time for just about anything they are focusing on in their minds.

I think it comes from our predator/ prey intuition that are ancestors had to rely on to stay alert. That also applies to perceived protectors like guardian angels and spirits and stuff like that to conversely have a sense of security and well-being.
I think one would be hard-pressed to come to that conclusion for all situations. Certainly one can fabricate feelings but when one experiences His presence and virtue (power) flows and someone is healed, it would be difficult to convince that person that what they felt, what happened to the person who received the healing power, was all a fabrication.

Did that "Christian" see an apparition of Jesus also, please, right?

Regards
You don’t have to see an apparition to feel a presence. Sometime people know “someone is watching” when they can’t see the person.

Same here it's the psychiatrist decision on whether they are a danger or not.
My brother in law wouldn't hurt a fly but he is a danger to himself, not eating or drinking, he has lost over two and a half stone since January and was a little under weight to start with.
Sorry to hear that… maybe the problem is demonic in nature?

I'd probably agree if it wasn't for the fact that 'healing power' typically dosent work , ergo results are not typical.

Those that do heal obviously had good biology and likely good professional help for those recoveries to happen.

Yes, that is a perspective that many people have. However, for those who received their healing and/or miracle, they definitely wouldn’t agree. Decades ago, a friend of mine received the report from John Hopkins that “the only answer we have is that it is a miracle”. So we would have people who wouldn’t agree with your viewpoint.

Well yea if they convince themselves of it, that is until next time it fails. And the word miracle is a pretty broad term from those spiritual minded to those who use it as a metaphor for an amazing recovery.

Word to the wise......

I'll leave it with that.

Please do...

The overall five-year survival rate for all stages is 25%.

Should I leave it at that?
