Jimmy Swaggart still going

Jimmy Swaggart, once a world-famous televangelist, built an empire preaching the Gospel to millions. But behind the scenes, his life was filled with scandal, lies, and betrayal. This story uncovers the shocking truth about how he swindled millions from innocent Christians, indulged in a double life with prostitutes, and issued a fake apology only to repeat his sins. This guy is still there smiling and preaching. Couldn't believe it.

That is why Protentast evangelism is 'weak' in some sense, because everybody gets to interpret and by definition that means participatate in the 'life' of God.

For these kind of people , silence is the best answer.
At the end , they made their choice..
We can only pray , nothing more..

I think however that he didn't mislead anyone , everybody has the choice to decide what is reasonable and what is not reasonable.

At the end of the day , they did not recognize the propaganda.

Does not Scripture say that we need to give to the poor and donate what we are able to?

So they gave riches to a very poor man.
That's what i think of it.

However i am not so sure that any of them think the same way.

They should give to the poor , not to the wealthy, that's what the Bible says.. :)
Those that Are Wealthy , they have what they need..

Matthew 6:5
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."

Brother. I didn't mean to make that sectarian claim. This is about an individual. It's bigotry to generalize to the whole. If you wish, I can do the same to a Catholic priest and a Muslim preacher.

Try not to practice bigotry. It might speak volumes about you.

Cheers.

I did not meant it in that way.
I just want to make it plainly clear what can happen if Scripture falls into the wrong hands.

This individual can happen.
that is why the " ' ".
Maybe you did not notice it or i should have been more clearer.

I apologize if I misrepresented you. If you are Muslim my brother, never ever should you use sentences that are generalizing because your theology at its core requires you to use your Aqal and never to make generalizations.

Anyway, waalaikum as salaam.

No need , it sounds like it , but i was not trying to do the bigotry.

If you are Muslim my brother
Well , if by that you mean the one who submits his will to the will of his Creator ,then yes.
But if you mean that in the sense of faith then no,I am Catholic.
If you mean by the way i live my life , then again no i am an Orthodox Christian.

Btw where i come from we Orthodox grew up with Muslims together and we were together against these kind of propagandas.

And i was a cluless about theology and God then..
Probably they were also..

Bur we understood their intentions..
I know many similar examples , even among my own.

That's why i think this has to be generalized, because we can see examples in every religion as you said.

Well , we differ theologically , so this has many issues.
My theology requires me to take advice from first hand which are the teachings of the Messiah.

My morality is not subjective , but rather objective which obviously means what I belive as a Christian.

He should join Jim Bakker trying to sell apocalyptic 'survival ' buckets of that gruel he passes off as food.

Since we are doing dodgy apologists I hear Zakir Naik wanted for alleged money laundering and inciting extremism charges in India, is visiting Pakistan this month;

C'mon mate. Are you defending televangelism (if that's a word).

On the whole, it's a joke, as far as I'm concerned
