Why would one take LSD thousands of times?
I like his thoughts, music and public service, but his choices were a bit odd.

Not to mention, there is a video of him at a home he was having built. It was at the swimming pool area of the home, and there were chairs he didn't like, so he said something to the effect of "OH, these chairs will never do, they are too cheap. Yoko, we will have to buy much better chairs" then they got into a stretched Mercedes limo and left. Looked really no different than any other Pre-Madonna.

It struck me as a bit odd, that what he preached in terms of equality and peace, seem to be at odds with how he actually lived.

Also, if he was as a progressive thinker back at the turn of the century, do you think in our animal friendly moral culture today he would be on the animal killing side? Meaning people change as they become educated, right?

Some of their stuff is alright. I just don't think they deserved the hype they got. And it annoys me when people like Lennon or Gandhi are painted like some sort of Christ figures, totally glossing over their glaring flaws and failings.
