What the article you cited mentioned was that bacteria was very much involved in fatalities. It is known that bacteria comes from face masks and certainly from ones that are not very clean and fresh etc. You really have nothing to possibly argue about. Believe what you will. As I said, go ahead and wear masks as much as you like. You are welcome to a belief. When people get pushy with their beliefs, and try to steal the freedom of others, that is another matter.
