That is the most amazing thing ever!

I want to petition my town council to install one near where I live!

But are the pizzas that it dispenses any good?

I've never had one so i don't know if they are good.

Orthorexia is a huge problem and it's in both sexes. It's far too rarely talked about.
I had to look that term up. Never heard of it.

Yes, it needs to be discussed more. My father fell into that category for awhile.
I want to move to Shetland, there are roadside cake fridges!

We may just end up neighbors...
My mother lives in the countryside

Some weirdo who lives on a farm near her has erected a kind of wardrobe full of cakes, that you can take if you leave them some money

We suspect they most probably contain certain bodily fluids and maybe even poison

And there is no telling what kind of conditions they are prepared in
Why do you suspect nefarious dealings?

It looks like some kind of trap

And they are sleazy rural types, they just seem very dodgy

And what's motivating them to provide cakes in such a way?

What do they get out of it? Other than a few quid?

It's not as if it would provide them with a whole new income stream or anything

There must be some sinister motive, that's the only way any of it makes sense!

Well it's not in the DSM and is not recognised by the American Psychiatric Association.
To be fair, I don't think that counts for much

I mean, they used to have homosexuality down as a disorder.........

Doesn't mean it doesn't exist tho.

It's recognisable in many individuals as a kind of OCD.

Also don't know why a US based manual applies to basically everywhere. I'm not sure that's sensible application as different cultures recognise different things.

I guess if you know them, and know them to be an issue, I can see avoiding them.

Some people do stuff like that because they're bored.

Yes, like feeding strangers adulterated cakes for a laugh!

They don't even look nice and I'm a person who tends to like cakes

As you rightly said, being a grown-up means having the freedom to enjoy whatever treats we fancy, regardless of how unhealthy they might be.
However, while it's important to savor these moments of culinary delight, it's also essential to keep in mind the balance between enjoying treats and maintaining overall health.
I've recently been dabbling in experimenting with different ingredients in my cooking adventures. One gem I've discovered is organic whole milk powder. Incorporating wholesome ingredients like this can add depth and nutrition to our meals, even when we're treating ourselves to some guilty pleasures.
