Well OK. I Rejoined for a focused thread outlook instead of contributing around the forum. There are some good threads going on.
I want to look at the Korean Church Schisms.

Presbyterian Church of Korea (TongHap) - Wikipedia
As we see the Tonghap Presbyterian Church of Korea is the 2nd largest Presbyterian Church in the World. Its associated with the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad, very small but visible here in the United States. Apostles Creed, Westminster Confession, World COuncil of Churches, WC of Reformed Churches.

I've heard a few things about this 1959 Schism the Hapdong. I note Tong Hap and Hap Tong appear to be some sort of order of precedence puzzle. I don't have the puzzle on all Korean words. I assume the 1959 schism seems to fit nicely with some 1958 Eisenhower-era ordering of the United Presbyterian Church and United Churches around the world headed for the PCUSA? They follow TV Evangelism, Billy Graham would have been with Eisenhower at that time. This leaving of all associations is the same issue for the PCUSA. Hapdong and PCUSA are out to remake the rest of it in their image, it seems like. There was something about a vote that split the Korean Church in a schism rather than Underwood's ordering of a Jurisdiction.
Many will hear about the Korean missionaries captured in Afghanistan and that Korea is a top sender of Missionaries. How different and far from the Presbyterian tradition, to assume some rich-mission followed the politics of the Kingdom and America to a pre-destined mission and so forth , instead, producing more sticks in the wind.
I can only judge that I have never seen any major historical or high profile events out of the Hapdong for meaning or comparison.
