No-one created evolution, rather the man who discovered evolution. Evolution is a natural process that happens continiously.

Ppl can argue until they are blue in the face, but that will never convince anyone that God exist. Christ says, no man comes to me unless the father draws him, so tell you kids you'll pray for them that the God of heaven will chose them to go to heaven. At best all you can do is pray for them. If you are saved, then they your entire family is sanctified. Once they leave the roost, they loose that sanctification and then they will notice a difference in their life, and may be ready for conversation. But the bible does say, "bring them up in the way they should go."

Are you perhaps in the wrong thread? This one is about evolution.

You best bet is to hand them a bible or send them to the library to read one, and tell them to read the genesis account of creation, and then to decide if they believe it or not. Or take them out of the school that teaches them such things as a God exist. Or home school them. And why not allow them to have the will to chose what they wish to believe, evolution or creationism? Keep an open mind, it is there life or at least when they reach a certain age it will be theirs.:beach:

What I would like to ask is why you think I should expose my child to religion. I'm quite happy for my child to learn about ALL kinds of religions & their ways, but I'm really not happy about some schools teaching my child that "God" is a real person, when it's quite obvious that "God" does not exist!
I can explain to child the reason why the earth is round or explain how an aeroplane flies or how a plant uses photosynthesis to grow. I can even show them diagram’s to help them learn. But what do I say when my children ask "How did God create the world in 7 days Dad?

I think it's about time that religion was taken out of schools! We don't need it anymore! It is a fascinating piece of history, but it is out of date & ridiculous!

I don't know about the UK, but here in Canada we have Separate School Boards for religous education. I think it's fair to allow that those who want to teach their children the particulars of religion (within a curriculum set by the province) be allowed to do so.

Creationism is what almost every child believes at a certain age, i was one of them Or, at least that is the way it was taught in my school.

I find it strange to believe that a mystical being, who has always been here, suddenly created the universe, its contents and us in particular. What could make it suddenly do that? Makes me think that there are a community of Gods, like there are humans. Maybe this one who made us was an outcast... Maybe there are million of universes with many just like us right know questioning what we are right now, thinking what we are right now.

The past is no more real than the future from an individual point of view. All that exists is now --creation happening each moment of conscious existence, in accordance with each individual's interpetation of it.

Think about it: the "Big Bang" is an idea thought of, based on evidence garnered by Hubble here on Earth, at this time in this place.... and it's a "now" thing carried forward into the future by each person who engages understanding of this idea "now".
"Right now" is the only reality.

No! science starts with men like Aristotle who had brains, not men who were trying to pervert the word of God. All I am saying is that Satan who wanted to be like God, and is the Prince of the world, has to have something to base his kingdom on that would be completely contrary to the word of God, Satan being an Anti Christ,:thud: and so are his sons. If Darwin:nightcraw: learned anything, it was by supplanting the things of righteousness.

It has also been told that later on thaat Darwin wrote two books after that he converted to christianity and denounced his first original book:slap: So in the end Jesus won. Science is ordained of God, but the ppl who deny God, cut their own nose off to spite their face.:sad:ly they cannot help themselves because they are under the prince of the power of the air, and have to believe their master, :yes:as I said!.

You're mistaken. Darwin never re-converted to Christianity. wiki (He started out as a divinity student.) So I gather, from what I can tell, is that you're in favor of science, but opposed to the Theory of Evolution? It's only Biology you have a problem with then? Geology, cosmology, astronomy, physics and so forth are all O.K. with you?
