Why do religious people have to justify their personal religious and spiritual belief?
This is one reason:Why do religious people have to justify their personal religious and spiritual belief?
Why do religious people have to justify their personal religious and spiritual belief?
My guess is it's their greed. Ever since they realised that rationality gets results and, more and more, reputation, they want to appear rational. Why do religious people have to justify their personal religious and spiritual belief?
I've said this before in other, similar threads you've made, but imo they don't unless they want to convince me I should abide by their religious code. If religious people kept to themselves and didn't try and enact social and civil policies I had to follow, I wouldn't care what they believe.
What does that has to do with a personal belief in a God, and why do they have to justify that they hold a personal belief??
Aren't atheists trying to stop Religion from spreading, by putting up laws in different countries?Only when they are trying to force that belief onto me do i need justification. And i always find they cannot justify whatever they are trying to sell
Other than that people can believe whatever they want.
Greed from whom?My guess is it's their greed. Ever since they realised that rationality gets results and, more and more, reputation, they want to appear rational.
If your personal beliefs are subsidized - either directly or in kind - by taxpayers, then you owe taxpayers a justification for this special treatment. What does that has to do with a personal belief in a God, and why do they have to justify that they hold a personal belief??
All restrictions on liberty should be justified.Aren't atheists trying to stop Religion from spreading, by putting up laws in different countries?
Shouldn't that be justified too to the religious people?
Where is the difference?

Most of them certainly seem fine with getting special tax breaks for their donations to their social clubs.Greed from whom?
Are religious people in RF greedy?
I personally dont get anything from the state for being spiritual or religious. If your personal beliefs are subsidized - either directly or in kind - by taxpayers, then you owe taxpayers a justification for this special treatment.
If you have to justify it, then it means there is doubt. Why do religious people have to justify their personal religious and spiritual belief?
Some are. They want to have faith and ratio.Greed from whom?
Are religious people in RF greedy?
The freedom to practice the religious teaching as it is in the scriptures. Often one can see certain aspects are tried to be stopped. All restrictions on liberty should be justified.
... but are the laws you talking about restrictions on liberty, or about removing special privileges?
Its the atheists who ask the believer to justify their personal belief. If you have to justify it, then it means there is doubt.
So to all religions people in RF, stop coming to RF because practicing our faith are greedy, and speaking about our faith in a religious forum has become greed??Some are. They want to have faith and ratio.
I'd say, you can have your faith, let us have our ratio. You can't have both. The moment you apply ratio to your faith it vanishes in a puff of logic.
