Katy Perry Banned From Sesame Street

Pfft I grew up with Carrie Fisher in a skimpy slave outfit in star wars and I turned out ok.

Although I do have a taste for bondage...

My only issue with that video is the utterly atrocious music. But it has less sexual content than, like, "Rubber Ducky", or Bert and Ernie's entire relationship, so I don't see what the problem is.

I smell something....
How many 3 or 4 yr old children watched that video and said "look at the awesome rack on that chick!"? The only things children would see in that video are lessons about depth perception and distance. My son watched it twice and he never mentioned anything about her nice jugs. Being only 4, he's not really into that kind of thing. That's my department:D and I'll keep that to myself for the time being. If they saw anything more adult oriented out of that video it is because of the sick and twisted parents who claim their children will be harmed in some way by watching said video. To ban a Sesame Street video because of some cleavage while robbing them of a chance to see something that is cute, entertaining and educational is way twisted.

It is a long shot guess, but is it possible that someone got afraid that the Elmo clip might encourage children to see the other clips for the same music?

One of them, which I believe is somehow the "default" one, has a marriage montage that includes what seems to be a transexual dame-of-company. Maybe it scared someone.
I don't think most kids at that age would be looking for more Katy Perry videos after that. They would probably be wanting to find more Sesame Street videos. And if this wasn't the case then that's where parenting comes into play.

Then why weren't they concerned that watching Colin Farrell would make the kids seek out his sex tape?

I can't stand Katy Perry, but that was completely innocuous, this protest has all the teeth-marks of elitist, outraged parents who let the TV raise their kids.

It's parents seeking to take offense. Some people revel in being offended, or at least making a pretense of being offended. Sort of a validation of the self-righteous "Me against them" mentality.

Really? Seriously? You can barely see anything. And as for the parent's kid wanting milk, if they are old enough to vocalize that they have made the correlation of breast = milk (not just mom's), there is a chance the kid old enough that the benefits of breast feeding stopped quite some time ago. Well, at least they are breast feeding though.
