Kids no longer drinking, fighting, stealing as much

Was on the news that kids seem to be behaving differently than other generations here in my country. What's up with that? I guess I'm getting old, don't we get the right to go "these kids are worse than my generation" like the generations before us... it's now the kids who are amazed how much their dad's generations spent time being wasted.

This is quite serious. The tradition of declaring the up and coming generation "corrupt" goes back at least as far as an ancient Sumerian tablet, inscribed about 5,000 years ago, that begins "The young no longer listen to their elders..". This is not a tradition to be messed with! If the current generation is fighting less, drinking less, and stealing less, they are slacking some of their most important responsibilities. They should be ashamed of themselves. Simply ashamed of themselves!

These darn young whippersnappers. Can't do anything right. Such a lazy youth we have today. We had real rebellion back in my day, not like today's entitled youngsters.

Surely we can whinge about their social media obsessions, though?
That is a tradition dating back to Sumerian times, proven by an ancient tablet which began 'And lo, my callow son Detritus mopes about when people comment unfavourably on his selfies, and has now unfriended many of his childhood friends...'

I think the kids today are great! This may be the best generation we've had in 100 years. We should provide them free college education and debt forgiveness to help them start life on the right foot. The children are our future. Let's treat them as if they are sacred because they are!

A generation of candy asses raised by the sissified Alan Alda generation of emasculated men.

They are too busy with their games
and iphones to go out and get in trouble.

Lost? May be.
For lo, I see them walk out into traffic or into glass doors
if they do step outside.

Then eat them when they get fat enough?

Give them better healthcare and wages so they can afford to participate in a weight loss program.

Why do people in this country hate other people so much?

Drinking tends to interfere with texting. And pot is a booming business. I will also add that excessive drinking was always always an extreme negative in religion. It seems that's been adopted as correct!!!!

"Give them?"

What "hate" has to do with any of this, IDK.
Do you?

Well, they certainly get my sympathy for the college debts they face and the price of housing. I had rather a meagre grant whilst at college but at least I didn't need to pay it back. They do have the advantage of the internet now - which of course can be a blessing and a curse.
