These darn young whippersnappers. Can't do anything right. Such a lazy youth we have today. We had real rebellion back in my day, not like today's entitled youngsters.

My generations stole enough of the Satanic Panic momentum to make up for this generation's lack of proper young people behavior. We had Marilyn Manson telling kids to worship the devil, MTG teaching us how to summon demons, eggs for brains, and Judas Priest telling us to go kill ourselves.
Sorry Millennial and iGen, we Gen-Xers had to take all that deviant behavior for ourselves, sucking it out of many future generations to come!

There's a huge amount of pressure to conform to strict PC norms and body-fascism amongst young people I know. They are ultra-careful of what they say and do (twitter never forgets). They can't afford to get drunk and mouth off like genXs did. Someone will be getting it on film and posting it up.

Lots of mental health issues with the girls too - self-harm and other stuff, though you'd hardly guess it. They don't seem a genuinely happy or a free bunch to me. There's a quiet sadness about a few of the young men I know.

No, they wont forget how to fend for themselves, though a lot of humans get to where they will not,, even if they could.

The alligator will "bite the hand that feeds them" which is why anyone feeding alligators gets a big fine, and the animals is
killed.

'Gators apparently have a very limited vocabulary, such that
"recognition" and "ingestion" are the same word.

If they recognize people as a source of food they get
(more) dangerous.

I am not against welfare / societal safety net.

But good intentions, social engineering, can have very
negative unintended consequences.

Kinda like feeding gators, looks harmless. Later is
when it, ah, bites you.
