Ummah is One? Hahaha. Either you're highly ignorant, highly misinformed or have been smoking something funny. "The Ummah is One" sounds nice but it's not reality. The Ummah has been divided since Aisha (the Prophets wife) and Ali (his nephew) went to war against each other soon after Prophet Muhammad's death. This created the Sunni-Shia split and the Ummah hasn't been one since. Now there are MANY divisions. Sunnis and Shias still don't like each other. Most Muslims don't agree with Saudi Arabia and Wahhabi Islam (which is where all the extremism comes from). Then there are Quranist Muslims such as myself who are considered apostates by many other members of the "Ummah". Let's not forget Sufi Muslims and several offshoot sects such as Ahmadi, Deobandi, Ismaili, Mahdavi, Khariji, Ibadi, Submitters, Barelvi, Zaydi, etc. And you say the UMMAH IS ONE??? Obviously you need to go educate yourself before you start acting like an expert on the history and beliefs of Islam.

Yah, I keep forgetting that you are the only true Muslim on the board...the Sunnis, Shias, Wahhabis,etc aren't really Muslims in your opinion... but they claim to be anyway..Maybe you would want to tell the forum who are the true Muslims so we can eliminate the confusion?? Yep, I know about it. A very crazy bigotted bunch. My wife is Irish and she had the bright idea to sponsor an Irish kid for the summer about 20-25 years ago. It was one of those programs to get them out of Belfast or whatever during the summer violence.

The kid was Catholic. And boy did he hate Protestants. My friend is Irish but was an Orangeman/Protestant. He had no problem with him until I toid the kid he was Protestant, then he was rude to my friend. My neighbor next door was a Baptist youth minister. As soon as he found out, he was rude to him also. When he found out I rented my investment condo to a Baptist youth minister, his comment was, raise the rent....

I finally sent him packing because no matter how many times I told him he was wrong as per his 'book', it didn't matter. BTW, even though he was supposedly Catholic, I couldn't get him to go to Mass on Sunday..so you have to wonder..what the hell was he?? I probably would have done better with a Protestant kid......

We have no "book", just stories and lessons from Skalds and Bards. You know him as Odin (or Wotan if you're German).

But it was said of old that in any combat situation, Othin is the one who determines the winner.

There are many Muslim countries that are tolerant of other religions such as Lebanon or Malaysia. I like how you use Saudi Arabia and Egypt, two of the most extreme Muslim countries. There are many Christians in Egypt btw. But on the flip side, what if I wanted to build a Mosque in Serbia or Armenia? How well would that be received? Or even GROUND ZERO? It goes both ways.
