Kilts!

I used to wear a kilt when out hillwalking. However, given that the wind here in Scotland can be ferocious, I often had to "cover up below" in case I offended anyone (or any sheep)!

Klaufi: if you want one, get one. Trust me, the ladies love a guy in a kilt!

I really want to get a kilt. Like, really bad. Does anyone on RF wear a kilt? The only reason I don't have on is that they are so darn expensive. Plus, the tartan for my family name is hard to find.

I found this website, and it's rather funny :)
It will definitely make you want to get a kilt! lol

Kiltmen.com - Bravehearts in Kilts

I thought that website featured kittens in kilts.

They can't be real kilts surely?

Unfortunately, no, they are not authentic Scottish Kilts. The site is Sport Kilt and they are Americanized versions made from poly-fibers or whatever and not wool. But right now, I am just going to get one of these before I look into an authentic one, just to see how I'll like it. (Not to mention I don't have 400 dollars to spare )

Yeah, I know traditionally you aren't supposed to wear anything underneath it, but in America, especially in New England where it can be windy, it would be very offensive if my kilt blew up. So I am taking a suggestion I found on a site where they said that you should wear black cotton briefs like the Scottish dancers if it would be an issue. So that's what I'm going to do :)

And I have also read on numerous sites that ladies love a guy in a kilt! So that's a plus haha

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Here are some kilted men from an event I attended recently in Jamestown, VA.

Enjoy!

I will post pictures in a little bit. And to all the people who said the girls would love it, you were right! Haha I got so many comments, and most of them were good. Most guys joked about why I was wearing a skirt, but it was all in good fun

Do you wear a sporran with the kilt? If you don't, then it'll look too much like a skirt, which, I assume, you don't want.

As stated above, give us some pictures!

I don't have a sporran, but I will get one eventually. Kilts and accessories get rather expensive so I'm buying them in pieces haha

Hey, great hair too, by the way. Very Viking Kingish.
