If we know ourselves, do we not know the omnipresence of God? Isn't our mind's the owners of our body, temple?
Jeremiah 31:34
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
should we love others more than ourselves; if we follow the Law of Love, or the Golden Rule?
Fool,
Maybe you should start with something you seem to take for granted, which is necessary to really know God.
First, God has a Personal, Proper NAME, which He had written in His Book, The Holy Bible, over 7,000 Times, in tha original Autographs. Just the number of times He had His name written, should make it clear that He wants His name spoken, especially by His worshippers.
Most Translators have removed God’s Name from His own Book, which He, Himself inspired, 2Timothy 3:16. In Hebrew His NAME was written, YHWH, which is translated, in English, Jehovah. Most translators have followed the pattern of the KJV, by putting in the Bible, where His name YHWH was, either LORD, or GOD, in all capitals. At Isaiah 42:8, in the Original Autographs God says that His Name is Jehovah. In the KJV, the translators kept His Name 4 places, Exodus 6:3, Isaiah 12:2, 26:4, Psalms 83:18. Translators who have removed God’s Name from His on Book, cannot do it with impunity!!!
The Bible tells us that Jehovah God is the only true God, that He is the creator of the heavens and the earth, and all the things in them.
God mentions, in several places that His dwelling place is in the heavens, 1Kings 8:30,39,43,49.
God tells us that He loves the ones that love Him, Proverbs 8:17, and that He wants His people to draw close to Him, James 4:8.
God had written in His Book, that everyone that does not know Him well, will receive the punishment of everlasting death, 2Thessalonians 1:8,9.
When God has things written in His word, He is not happy when people misrepresent Him!!! Jehovah is All seeing, Omnipotent, and Omniscient, but He is not Omnipresent, or Ubiquitus, but is Described by the term Circumscription, which means that God occupies a certain place in space, and is not everyplace.
One place in the Bible shows us for a certainty, that God is NOT everywhere, 1 Kings 19:11,12. Genesis 40:8.
