Some knowledge appears to be absolute -- such as knowledge derived from mathematics and pure logic (given a few assumptions).

I wonder about Math sometimes. The Romans were missing 0. I can't imagine life without it. I wonder for those looking back in 2000 years time what will be our zero?

600 years ago people 'knew' the sun moved around the earth with the same conviction we know the earth moves around the sun.

In your view is all knowledge provisional?
It is only provisional if it wasn't knowledge to begin with otherwise it would be foundational.

Knowledge as an absolute?

I consider that for each item made sure of....there will be two more questions.
When those questions are answered....more questions.

The number of questions will multiple and outrun the sure things....
many times over.

In that regard, we grow more ignorant, moment by moment.
