Anyone want to learn Arabic? I'm not exactly good in it, but i know basic Lebanese dialect and a bit of Egyptian.

انا احبّ اللّغة العربية

Want me to tell you some hard things about Arabic?
1. Like French, Spanish, etc. there is no it; everything is either masculine or feminine. That is why Allah is masculine: it means pretty much the same as it in some cases.
2. The letters are sometimes written different according to where they're placed.
3. The T sound can be written in two ways, ة and ت , depending on whether it's a verb or noun. However, there are some exceptions.
4. Signs such as َ ُ ِ may change the whole meaning of a word.
5. Some letters are hard for English speakers to pronounce. :bonk:

I could add more, but this should be enough. If you would like to learn Arabic, I could teach you enough to get around places in the Middle East; however, if you want to learn Gulf or North African (not including Egyptian, I'm okay at that) dialects, get a native speaker. They aren't a piece of cake. North African is harder. Seriously, Egyptian is fast, but in Moroccan, for example, they say 10000000000 words a minute!
Did you know Spanish as a lot of Arabic influence? This is due to the Moor's influence:

There are words such as "ojala" is derived from the Arabic "insha'allah" (both expressions mean God willing), while the Spanish exclamation "olé" comes from "Allah."

I know. Spain was a part of the Muslim Empire.

Oh, and I realize I should have said the language I want to learn. I'm learning Arabic in school already, though. Hmm.......I'll learn Spanish! :D

Druidus, though i'm not really great at German(c+), i belive you wrote; "What is the airport". What i think you meant to write is "Wo ist das flughafen"(and i dont know about the spelling either. :D
LeNinjaChic - Do you have any form of IMing? So you would like to learn Norwiegen? Or Swedish? Or Danish? Danish is possibly the most complicated of all, but its my first launguage, so i would be better teaching that.
And i would love to learn modern-hebrew!

I can help out with modern Hebrew, i noticed a lot of people wanted to learn that, so just PM me if you have any questions

www.studyspanish.com is a good site to learn Spanish, i learnt almost all my Spanish from there (not that my Spanish amounts to much, as i didn't follow through due to strange and inexplicable reasons)

I'm not really looking to start learning a new language right now, but if anyone would like to learn a little beginner Japanese, I'd really like to help you. I'm not fluent or anything, but I was offered work as a tutor, but I'm really nervous about it, so you could be my guinea pigs. :D

I know English, Japanese, German, and Arabic but I´m not around enough to help with those.

I will help if someone wants to learn (Brasilian) Portuguese.

Is Brazilian Portuguese that different from Iberian Portuguese (if i may use that term)? i've seen it referred to as a different language almost somewhere.

Another interesting site for all my fellow linguists:

for those interested in learning Persian/Farsi this seems like a great site. You can even buy a couple of music cds to help you (IMO, songs are a great way of learning a language)

Any language spoken in different parts of the world will be very different because of regionalisms. Spanish is very different in México, compared to Spain, and even more so in the US, from México. Some countries even have their own dialects (the Phillipines has over 90, for example).

I wasn't aware that Portuguese was a majour language in anywhere else in Europe but Portugal.

There's just some spelling differences and a few words that are aren't the same between Brasil and Portugal.
