Leaving Christianity

After all the reading and forums I go to, I wonder if there are many left in the modern western world. Fortunately, Jesus the person, is held in better esteem.

I wonder why someone can't get Christianity more 'on the mark' for today's people?

Wow. I googled Jim Jones, and here is his face.

I was not expecting this. Now, who wouldn't follow this man?

Just finished reading an amazing bool: "Leaving Christianity to Follow Jesus" By James Jones

A great read for all those who are keen to follow the teachings of Christ but are sick of all the religious bull **** in the Church. RECOMMENDED.

I don't know if it's revolution its just that time again I think. Big changes happened around the printing press it feels The same now. Religion is always held in tension between profound and plastic. Or authentic and religiosity.

When one looks at the numbers of people walking away from Christianity it will only be so long till it becomes another one of those micro religions. The message of Christ is life changing for those who have embraced it, but I believe time has moved on. If one looks back in human history there has always been messengers from God and its my conviction that Bahá'u'lláh the founder of the Bahai faith has a more relevant message. Its a message of bringing people together. We are one people living on one planet. "With all the segregation that religion has caused no wonder people are walking away. Bit like 2 flees fighting over who own the dog they live on"

never underestimate the female in this, story. We live in a time in which in story form could be said we have a dying mother, mother nature herself is under attack. The unconscious works in deep mysterious ways.

I didn't realize Trump is so old. 71 years, in fact. Just imagine how much Obama aged while in office. At the end of his presidency, he'll probably have to be carried out in a coffin. Maybe earlier, if he keeps up the trade war with China. There will be a lot of armed, disgruntled farmers. Just sayin'
I actually think he is a robot operated from the Kremlin. With possible alien technology. I saw this documentary MIB and a tiny alien was in the head of this robot. Ha!! Ok ok not real. But fun...

Love those trees, where is that?
Redwoods these aren't really really big either!! But they are big. Spend every summer visiting. We have a few douglas fir locations here further north but very few really big ones anymore.
