I just stopped using it although I'm sick and tired of the spamming from Facebook pretending that my friends are proactively sending me things through emails saying, "I thought you might be interested in this" like you're going to think my friend said this so I'm going to respond back on Facebook.

My response will be, "Hey Facebook , feck off and stop pretending that my friends are sending me things like those stupid links just so I sign back on the Facebook website.

That's almost exactly what I did.
Lots of people kept telling me I should at least have a FB account. So I got one. The nonsense and drama was so ridiculous I stopped opening it after about a week. That was around 5 years ago.
I don't know if it still exists or not.

I've seriously been thinking about it, in light of the possibility of Russian trolls. That is added to the already unhealthy effects I think social media might be having on how we relate and discourse with one another.
