These are interesting precepts and make a lot of sense. Your profile says your Religion is Scientism. How can you teach a little about it without violating RF rules? I don't think I've heard anything about it. Scientology is the closest "sounding" religion that comes to mind.

It's from Scientology. Scientology believes that you are a thetan in control of a physical body. Your natural state is to not be attached to a physical body. Each body also has a GE/genetic entity. You, the thetan struggle for control of the body with the GE.

According to Scientology, Earth is a prison. Folks are sent here who are a threat to the current galactic authority. Your memories of your existence previous to your current have been suppressed. Scientology has a process called auditing to recover your memories so eventually you will no longer be trapped inside of your current body.

The two main activities is they audit you to recover your previous memories and or train you to audit others.

Expand on that, please.

I guess I just meant that it is symbolically important. We see it in many different facets of mythology and story, and thus life itself, such as: maiden-mother-crone, life-death-rebirth, past-present-future, mind-body-spirit, the Kindreds of Gods-Spirits-Ancestors, shapes such as the Triskelion & Valknut reflect 3's, etc.

Even the 9 virtues are 3 groups of 3, hence 9 being important too.

I've definitely noticed. I thought maybe you had a specific view in why 3s show up so often.

Perseverance reminds us to continue
pushing onward, despite potential
obstacles. To persevere is to not only rise
up in the face of defeat, but to learn and
grow from our mistakes and poor
choices. Anyone can be mediocre
Anyone can be average. Anyone can do
just enough to get by. But if we want to
excel, and live up to our fullest potential
then we have to persevere. We have to
push on even when things are hard and
frustrating, or even if it seems like things
are completely impossible. lf we don't
persevere, then we have nothing to strive for.
Proverbs 24:16
A righteous man will fall seven times, and rise again.

Some more on preservance:

1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?"
Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.

John 15:9
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.

Self-Reliance: is the virtue of taking care of oneself, while still maintaining
relationships with Deity. lt's important to
honor [the gods], but also to take care of
the body and mind. To do this, many
#$%@&%$#@ find a balance between doing for others and doing for the self. To thrive as part of a community, we must also be able to thrive as individuals.
Not so much emphasis in Christianity but still:

Mark 6:30-31
The apostles returned to Jesus and told him all that they had done and taught. And he said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while." For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

The concept of industriousness reminds
us to hard work as a means to achieve a
goal. Work hard at everything you do -
you owe it to yourself, to your family, to
your community and to your [gods]. I
figure my ancestors never sat around
being lazy - working hard was inherent to
their survival. You didn't work, you didn't
eat. Your family might starve if you were
busy loafing instead of doing something.
I try to make sure that I keep my mind
and body working at all times - that
doesn't mean I don't have down time, it
simply means that I am at my best when
I feel a sense of accomplishment.

Proverbs 6:6
Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.

Yes, this virtue has a different focus in Christianity, I think. But I do see it as relying on one's self to abide in God's will. I think of the Serenity Prayer, of course, and also James 3:8...but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God.10From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

And Paul tells us the body is a temple in 1 Corinthians 6, although I read it as him focused on more carnal matters.

Hospitality is more than just opening
your door to a guest. It's about treating
others with respect, and being part of the
community. For our ancestors, hospitality
wasn't a question of simply being nice, it
was often a matter of survival. A traveler
might find himself wandering for days or
more without seeing another living soul.
Arriving in a new village meant not just
food and shelter, but also companionship and safety. Traditionally once a guest had eaten at your table, it meant they were also granted your protection while under your roof.
Let all guests who arrive be received like Christ, for He is going to say, “I came as a guest, and you received Me”. (Saint Benedict of Nursia)

Discipline includes using one's personal
will to uphold honor and other virtues. It's
not easy to be an ethical and just person
in today's society -- it often takes some
degree of work, and a lot of mental
discipline. Will comes into play with that.
Upholding the virtues is a choice, and it's
a much simpler path to follow to just
ignore them and do what society
expects or what's easy. Discipline is the
ability to show your courage, your loyalty,
your sense of self-reliance, in the face of
personal challenges.

Titus 2:6
Urge the younger men to be self-controlled.

Lamentations 3:27
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

Proverbs 25:28
A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.

Matthew 7:13
"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

Mark 9:43
And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. [metaphorically]

Psalms 34:13-14
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Fidelity is complex, and involves
remaining true to the [Gods], kinsmen, a
spouse, and community. Much like honor
fidelity is something to be remembered.
In many early heathen cultures, an oath
was seen as a sacred contract -
someone who broke a vow, whether it
was to a wife, a friend, or a business
partner, was considered a shameful and
dishonorable person indeed. The Nine
Noble Virtues
all tie in together - if you
fail to adhere to one, you may have
trouble following the others. The concept
of fidelity is one of loyalty. If you let down
a friend or member of your Kindred or
the [Gods], then you're turning your back
on your entire community and all that
they stand for.

Sirach 9:9-10
Never dine with another man’s wife
or revel with her at wine,
or your heart may turn aside to her,
and in blood you may plunge into destruction.
Do not abandon old friends,
for new ones cannot equal them.
A new friend is like new wine;
when it has aged, you will drink it with pleasure.

Proverbs 5
15 Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.
16 Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?
17 Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you.
18 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another...

Matthew 19
3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, "Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?"
4 He answered, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,
5 and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?
6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."

John 17
20 "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me .

Honor:, one's reputation and moral
compass. Honor plays a significant role
in the daily life of many Heathens and
Asatruar,
This virtue reminds us that our
deeds, words, and reputation will outlive
our bodies, and that the person we are in
life will be remembered for a long time

Proverbs 21:21
Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.

Proverbs 29:23
One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.

Proverbs 20:3
It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.

Proverbs 3:35
The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace.

There are different types of truth
spiritual truth and actual truth.
The concept of Truth is a powerful one
and stands as a reminder that we must
speak of what we know as Truth, rather
than what we think others wish to hear.

Proverbs 8:7
... for my mouth will utter truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

Proverbs 12:22
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight.

Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.

John 18:37
Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.

Courage: both physical and moral
courage. Courage isn't necessarily about
running into a fight with your guns
blazing. For many people, it's more about
standing up for what you believe in and
what you know to be right and just, even
if it's not the popular opinion. Many
Heathens agree that it takes a lot of
courage to live by the Nine Noble Virtues
particularly if you live in an area that's
spiritually conservative, and is generally
ruled by Ten of the Other Guy's Rules
Living your beliefs in the face of
opposition requires as much courage as
going into battle.

Psalms 118:6
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

1 Peter 3
13 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.
17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil.
