It's the taking away of quality of life.

This dated yet revelant opinion piece is an excellent synopsis of what I'm referring to. It's absolutely no imagination whatsoever considering the massive fall of freedoms in the index. Mostly via the nanny state and attacks made on the Constitution and bill of rights.

This has to stop.

Obsessed With Need To Control Others, Political Busybodies And Judges Trample On Liberty
So basically, the gist of this is, "It's my liberty to deny others their civil rights when it conflicts with my personal ideas and beliefs. If I want to deny my employee's access to birth control that I have to pay anything towards in health care coverage for them, it's my right, damn them little hussies, and damn you too." Is that about the gist of it?

The problem with that **** is what if your religious beliefs tell you you should refuse to give food and shelter to black people, or gays, or women who won't wear burkas?

As far as free speech being attacked by going after Citizens United, that's a bit of a stretch. Citizens United Explained

Reality is plain to see if we want to see it.

Bob is straight, Bill is gay. Bob and Bill will never see eye to eye.

Bob owns guns. Bill thinks guns should be banned. Bob and Bill will never see eye to eye.

Bob is democrat. Bill is republican. Bob and Bill will never see eye to eye.

Bob is atheist. Bill is religious. Bob and Bill will never see eye to eye.

Bob isn't transgender. Bill is trandsgender. Bob and bill will never see eye to eye.

Etc. Etc.

Some will overlook, some semi-agree, some tolerate, some lie that its ok.

IMO people with big difference will never see eye to eye. It is what it is. Its life. Live it.

If everyone worried about living their own life instead of worrying about how others live thiers, life would be so much better.
That's bs. I don't totally agree with anyone I know, but I can understand them and also get along with them as people.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
I wouldn't want to control everything. Too much control is very very bad; I embrace diversity. Basic decency is all I want to see happen.

Nothing ventured nothing gained, all those differences in people. I want people to have the truth of who they are, and who they want to be so long as they human about it and it's nothing harmful. The freedom is in the fight for freedom. Not all freedoms are good. People change when things are shown to be true, and effectively good.

Disagreement is good.

I have a big problem when someone pushes their truth on others; especially if it ain't true. Life can be the great experiment.

One day humans will get things right. I'm a bit left liberal.

Billions of years in the future if we survive. We can all have our very own planet in space and do our own thing.

I think if Bob was in trouble Bill would do everything they could to help Bob.

They would see eye to eye.

Because they are human.
