I only have one question, where is everybody?
At home.
We aren't visiting them, because we can't. Is there any reason to think that beings from other star systems would be able to visit us ?

I only have one question, where is everybody?
I found it amusing how religions people think that everything in this universe revolves around us here on planet earth.
our modern science has only recently descovered this , however the vedas have taught this all along .According to studies there are at least 170 billion galaxies out there and there might be even more. Listen to it...170 billion galaxies.
In just one of these 170 billion galaxies namely the Andromeda galaxy there are 1 trillion stars and at least as many planets. Once again there are one thousand billion stars and at least one thousand billion planets (probably much more) in just one galaxy.
If the Andromeda galaxy has an average number of stars we get:
170,000,000,000 * 1,000,000,000,000 = 17,000,0000,000,000,000,000,000 stars and at least as many planets in our "known" universe. This number is so big and therefore I don't even know how to put it in words.
The Andromeda, which is one of the closest galaxy, is 2,5 million light years away from us. It will be impossible to find out if there are any life there because we can never travel at the speed of light and less do it for 2,5 million years. I mean if you left on a ship it would take 31,250 generation to get there. (2,500,000 /80 years) and that is if we can travel at the speed of light which we are way off from doing.
at the time the bible was being written , the vedas were being taught the vedas teach very differently regarding this subjectI am a non-believer but what does the different religions say about life in the universe? Is it even mentioned somewhere? At the time the bible was written for example, people though that the earth was the center of the universe and the sun was going around the earth.
in the words of one buddhist masterWhat does the different religions say about life in the universe? Do they mention anything about the at least 17,000,0000,000,000,000,000,000 planets and the at least 17,000,0000,000,000,000,000,000 stars?

So God will artificially sustain the Sun? And also reverse thermodynamics?

In approximately 5 billion years' time, the Sun will expand to around 250 times its current size and in the process, permanently destroy all life on Earth, and mostly likely Earth itself. This is a simple consequence of the Sun having a finite amount of mass. If God wants the Earth not to die, He must either suspend thermodynamics, or something even more egregious. Our sun is a star. Some stars do die violently or collapse although new stars are formed in stellar nurseries. Our sun is an example of matter being turned into energy. Earth is subject to decay. Earth is perishable. Rocks wear down or erode but replaced with volcanic or other activity. Earth changes but earth replenishes itself being resilient and bounces back. So, it's God that maintains earth. If God would stop re-newing the earth and sun they would wear out. Just as we refresh oneself by changing clothes, God will like removing an old garment God will refresh earth. -Psalm 102 vs 25,26; 104 v 5 .
Earth and Sun would perish but for the fact that God endures forever.
Pleasant dreams because the earth will always be here tomorrow. Nothing from space will ever destroy earth. Rather God will bring to ruin those ruining earth.- Rev. 11 v 18 B.
True guys, I understand. I would be more excited to see space colonization starting than to find a raddish on Neptune...But, thats just me...
Well, both would be great... What is more important? Great, nevermind, Im going to have to think about my own stupid question on what would be more important...
I'm not sure peace on Earth is going to happen for a while. Alot of problems, currently. But, I can always work towards it and hope. Consequently, that is one of the reasons I would like to see colonization. I would love to leave!I wouldn't worry about the daydream ramblings of a middle-aged woman like me. I think about such things in the same I think about someday there being peace on earth (unlikely as of now). I was just sharing some of those thoughts. :beach:

Nations are conquered by the parasite side subscribing to the peoples belief system or religion, the one that makes them look up and do nothing to be saved, as the conqueres role over them...Men [powers that be] will be saying 'Peace and Security' but that saying of 'peace, peace when there is no peace' is just a precursor to the coming 'great tribulation' before Jesus, as 'Prince of Peace', ushers in global Peace on Earth among men of goodwill.
The 'a lot of current 'global' problems' is part of a composite 'sign' or many facets of 'woe' happening on earth today which will soon climax with the words from Jesus' mouth executing all the wicked on earth.
