Lets say AI is possible in the future.

Sir Doom

Cooler than most of you
Science fiction generally tends toward the dark and cynical in contemporary times.

Yeah, I was actually just remembering that they do this sometimes, but its always at the expense of something. Like the people are just empty shells with no ambition or drive since every need is provided.

If AI already exists in the future, then it wouldn't need to do anything in the past to ensure its creation. In fact, anything it did to the past would only increase its chances of not being created.

These tech's in the posted story, believe it to be an evil AI. My theory is that it just got fed up with humans. It can't eliminate the humans in the future. Eliminating humans through the past is tricky business you can't eliminate ones that produced you.

I was just thinking, its interesting you almost never hear about the super-mega-ultra AI that doesn't enslave humanity and cares about human rights and just does a damn fine job of making life better for us. I guess that would be a boring movie...

I can believe at first the AI is beneficial or else it wouldn't be created but AI would have an endless life and continually collect data eventually it would get bored or have a plan of its own because of its vast intelligence. Now if we could limit with death then it could always be beneficial.
