If one day, one of the staff members said that "Okay, Religious Forums is going to be closed (for some reason). Thank you for all the support and stuff", what will you do? How would you react? Just got curious after reading couple of posters in a thread in this forum stating that they've found (and then, joined) RF after the previous forums where they join has been closed/shut down.

It would kind of depress me. After all, I've been here for six years and I really enjoy it (most of the time, anyway) and I've got some friends here.

I'll finally be able to learn to play the sitar and travel South America riding an alpaca as a true troubadour.

I would be upset, for sure. Religious studies is my life, and I love to discuss topics with other people, and there's nowhere quite like the net to do that. I've been to several other religious discussion forums (and there's not that many), and this is the only one where I feel that there's actual discussions going on. Sure, we have the occasional loon, but it's not nowhere near as bad here as at other forums I've been to. I like it here. I've made some pretty decent internet friends here. I'm even FB friends with a few of you. I would be heart broken, but I'd move on.

Well, I'd be upset, but then again, I'd get more work done on projects I've committed to, so it'd probably be a good thing. I'd actually get my social networking software coded and possibly running. Also, I'd have my slackbuilds finished(committed myself to ham slackbuilds)
