@Geoff-Allen I have been a Leunig fan for many years. No one quite states the simple and obvious like Michael Leunig.

I had a friend who was also a great Leunig fan who used to send me his calendar out of the SMH every year, but she died a couple of years ago and I really miss them. She also sent me one of his books, which I love.

I think we are on the same page as far as our Leunig appreciation goes :)

I believe there may be a site called exactly that - "Leunig Appreciation Society" ...

Did plug it into Google and there are afew interesting results ...
