What do you think is the lie of the year? No points for guessing who is the liar of the year, that is too obvious. But which of the thousands of lies would you give the award of “lie of the year”?

Politifact made their choice.

Lie of the Year: Trump’s claim whistleblower got it wrong

A good choice, a lie that Trump has told over and over again, a lie that is clearly and unambiguously a lie, and that many of Trump’s followers probably still believe.

What do you think? Good choice for lie of the year?

This is such a "target rich environment" question. I'll just agree it's a good choice unless someone comes up with a better one.

That the Dem's will take win the Presidency, and the Senate, also remain in control of the House.

Note:
There are so many lies throughout every year.
But this one rules because it's about the end of the world.
What's bigger'n that, eh.
It would be a big thing if End-of-the-World predictions weren't a dime a dozen. And this one wasn't even been proven to be a lie.

You won't know whether or not it's a lie until the state time period is up...and even then, it will have just been a erroneous prediction, not a lie...

Yes, although technically, we don't really know if it's a lie yet. And did she specifically say that it would be this world? It could be some other world, or perhaps some alternate reality? Or it could mean "world" in a more abstract sense.

I watched a TV program the other day that suggested that the amount of methane gas being released into the environment will cause an atmosphere that can not support human life. They suggested that we have 11 or 12 years before we start dying off unless we do something to reduce methane gas.

Bet ya a nickle that nothing will be done, but

It's very often a matter of opinion whether a statement
stems from dishonesty or utter stupidity. I pick lie for this'n.
She can't be that....uh.....challenged.

I personalize any studygroups or draw attention to myself , away from that studygroup's activity. When really, any attention is drawn away by everybody else. That's probably bigger too, I'm not sure. That I check with people about a studygroup, get told to leave, come check on it a year later, and everybody acts like I am poisonously engaged in attention grabbing .

Penniless students concerned only with everyone else's and my best college experience, never jeopardized any promises or hinted about any activities or upset anybody with anything. I'm told what to do to be jeopardized online, by people who stole attention, any attention.
