It annoys me when my coworkers (all college students) use tally marks to take head count instead of using Hindu-Arabic numerals (I'd even settle for Roman Numerals) because it makes it a lot harder to add up all the rows and columns at the end of the day. It must also annoy my boss because she has thanked me for using actual numbers and not cluttering the boxes with a ton of marks.

Facebook also annoys me because it forces me to see all the stupid stuff people believe, like the Sandy Hook school shootings not being real but only a conspiracy to scare people into disarming America.

McDonalds didn't put mustard or lettuce on my cheese burger today........ So annoying!!

i told them and they said " im sorry we don't put lettuce in our cheese burgers" ...... ?? I apologized and said " could i have one with mustard then please "

i got one with mustard ....... And that's it!!! No onions , no tomato sauce , no gerkin ........ Just a mustard cheese burger !!!

Speaking of which...(true story).
Sent a guy to get lunch for us a local dinner. Told him I wanted a chicken breast sandwich of any type. Bit into the sandwich and--you guessed it-- found a whole, intact chicken breast, bones and all. Would have been annoy if not so dumbfounded-and the chicken wasn't that bad.

When I just want to be annoyed by something (and sometimes I do,) I find this one convenient.

Gas prices being listed with 9/10th of a cent in the price. I know I can't go there and buy 1 gallon of gas for $2.59.9. No one makes change for a tenth of a cent. I'm going to pay $2.60. Why misrepresent it with 9/10 of a cent in the price?

It can't be due to a market condition, or some kind of monetary conversion in the market, because if it was the percentage would fluctuate as part of the price fluctuation.

It would make a big difference if you bought like...one...million...gallons.

It annoys me that school expects everyone to be a social butterfly, and, to use their own PC approach against them, has an utter lack of recognition, appreciation, or acceptance of neuro-diversity, which tends to include lots of people who do not like all these social functions that we are expected to be a part, as they tell us, if we want to be successful. Just once I'd like to see a sign on the wall, somewhere, that tells students if they see an Aspie who looks like they are about to have a nervous breakdown to just leave them alone, because they probably really do need to be left alone for awhile because they probably are actually about to have a breakdown. And of course to not take it personally if we sound a little on edge and irritated when we tell them we are fine and just want to be alone for awhile.

It also annoys me that nursing students seem to have a great deal of power when complaining about things that really don't effect them (having library hours extended on a day they are never in it), but when I complain about the lack of assistance offered to students going on to grad school nothing is done (such as statements letters, questions about referral letters, writing sample, funding, IRB process, etc.).

Strangers who call me "kid" even though they don't look like they're that older than me annoy me at times. Sometimes they come across as condescending.

• People leaving their shopping carts in the middle of the grocery store aisle as they stare at the shelves. Pull over please.
• People on their cell phones at work walking up and down the cube farm talking. One guy here paces right behind my cube.
• People standing in a line or in their cars at a light leaving a huge gap in front of them. Uh, move up?
• People coming to work coughing and hacking like they're trying to bring up their liver. Stay home and please do not infect the rest of us.
• That just about everyone drives an SAV (Suburban Assault Vehicle, aka SUV). True story about this item: Last year when we had a lot of ice and snow one of our employees mentioned that her anti-lock brakes were defective. I asked why she thought that. She said that when she applied the brakes, there was a "terrible vibration". She said she had to pump the brakes.

I said that "terrible vibration" was the ABS working, you don't pump the brakes, you hold your foot down. She said oh that's why she was sliding.
