We had the discussion long before the vote. We knew exactly what it meant.
It seems unlikely that ANYONE knew 'exactly' what it meant.
There were a lot of deals and contracts that required ratification, and the very nature of that negotiation meant it wasn't possible to know exactly.
I take exception to people basically telling us Leavers that we didn't know what we were doing and couldn't vote like adults. We can and we did.
Like any other large voting group, there would be a range.
So whether you knew exactly what the impact of the Brexit vote would be, not everyone did. That's not a particular knock on Leavers, just how democracy is.
