I think you might be right. But another related fallacy I would mention that we may need is the "irrelevant equivalency", that is where the equivalency may actually be true, but does not address the relevant point.
You just invented the fallacy.

I think "tu quoque" is closer to the idea I am getting at.
I'd say that one & the ad hominem are the worst ones here.
They're closely related to ordinary insult, & all are the biggest
destroyers of discussion. They're not just errors...they're abuse.
