Looking forward to good discussion

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Yeah I was surprised at how many people responded to the last post. It's too bad I don't have time to respond to every single person - I guess I was more hoping for one or two one-on-one discussions but it doesn't matter. I think I'll enjoy participating in this forum. Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "liturgical Christian"?

Thanks for asking!

A liturgical Christian is one who observes the liturgical year - Lent, Easter, Advent, Ordinary Time, etc. Also - liturgical worship uses responses, creeds, a liturgical calendar, different colors that symbolize different things, very regular Eucharist services, etc.

Catholics, Greek Orthodox, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Anglican, Methodist, and some Presbyterians are some of the "liturgical Christian" sects.

Some people call this style of worship "high Church." I just like it because it is deeply traditional (I enjoy the feeling of communion with other Christian communities and Christians who lived in the past), and because I am naturally more reverent in a reserved and solemn way than informal or charismatic. I love Communion, the Apostle's Creed, the ancient rites and traditions, and old sacred music.

Hope this helps! Once again - WELCOME!
