This reminds me of an interesting double standard Democrats use....
Trump voters are all violent racist Nazis because a person here or there said something bad.
But when Hillary fans are violent, the whole should not be judged by the few.
No wonder they're convinced of their own superiority.
Perhaps the peaceful protesters were only peaceful because the cops were "harrassing" them.
OK....that's overly cynical.
Cops can't be everywhere, so malefactors will find opportunities.
I suspect that some might even be apolitical.
But mainstream media & Hillary fans sure did foment a level of hatred conducive to such violence.
They actually treated as news Trump's being the next Hitler. That led nowhere positive.

You use the state to authorize violence and the minute you don't have the means to legally enact that violence or your authorization gets hindered you break out in violence yourself.

Protesting somebody's inauguration then attempting to belittle him in every way possible is not harassment?
Destroying property is a rational response to police men stopping you from creating havoc? If having cops in front of you is offense then what is truly offensive?
It's the same double-standard used by Republicans when their constituents make racist comments or proclaim how they'd like to shoot liberals in a civil war. Let's not pretend that this is something exclusive to Democrats.

I am sure that there must be some Trump supporters in the UK But I have not seen or heard one yet.
The best I have heard, suggest that he might not turn out as bad as he has seems so far.
most just see him as ignorant, and proud of it.

I don't know how many watched the inauguration here, I just watched a 10 minute summary on the news.
However my daughter said she watched the ceremony to see if he would be assassinated.
So quite a few were probably very disappointed in the total lack of excitement. (she would fit into the well educated, lexus driving, comfortably off, professionals wife bracket) not some extreme lefty.

I saw the guards rush over to stop somebody when Trump was in the Beast but it was a false alarm, it only lasted like 3 seconds. I was hoping to see some buffoon waste a clip of ammo on Trump's anti-ballistic motorcade and get shot.
Sadly this did not happen, I was hoping for more excitement although the assault of Bank of America was pretty cool to hear.

I had never seen Trump speak before so decided to see what all the fuss was about.
His speech was pretty much as expected from an new leader. God , Jesus and Zion were mentioned by a few Christians and a Jew. I thought it a bit OTT.
I watched until the end of the speeches and thought that the lady who sung the national anthem at the end had a great voice.(starts at 1hr 48 mins below).

It seems that way, but I also remember when things were as bad or worse.
In my town the FBI office was bombed, protesters were severely beaten, etc.

That has to be the most evil sentiment I have ever read. You've just wished death on a person for your own amusement and to somehow prove your political bias? Shame, shame, shame. I do not even have a political bias since I am an anarchist. I would take a Democrat if they weren't racist and supported free market principles. I live by principles and vote the same wa. I don't chose a candidate because they have a nice smile and are the same race as I.
