Yes, I agree, We had several "Messiahs" in the hospital. ALL were God. ALL could heal. ALL were sick ! People have to realize that you can seem FINE and be going bat**** INSANE, thinking God is going to curse you because you have repetitive blasphemous thoughts about the Holy Spirit. How do I know ? IT HAPPENED TO ME.
Hey, I thought you were part of the psychotic club lol.

Same. Here, the criminals would get the best of him. Many people in mental health wards here are there because of murders. They are not segregated from people who have legitimate mental health conditions. Also, the way people are treated and how it is set up would make anyone like myself paranoid.

I dont see anything like that in Jesus. He had some interesting claims, but not so extreme to put Him were I have been.

Horrible
Yes but in this day and age he would probably been admitted by a member of his family, come on lets face it, if you knew nothing about this myth called Jesus and you saw a man carrying on like he did, what would you truly think, now don't forget you never heard of Jesus.

I remember a few times I was taken away to be admitted, I would believe I am Jesus, and you know something, I was.

He he, if only they knew...........have you ever thought that way ?.
Yes, the Last Prophet will appear. He will leade our disabled people to Heaven, where they will encounter an experience of being high for eternity.

The Squares will go to Hell, where they will exchange their normality for disability. They will suffer for eternity, being bereft of sanity, mobility, intellectual disabilities and will suffer forever.

And say he was making statements that he was God, he created the universe, e.t.c.
Your question is based on the false text, the gospel of John is made up and Paul claimed him to be divine.... ;)
The thinking that judgement day will come, and that he fulfilled prophecies are better reasons to class someone as mental in today's world....Yet then we could also say all those who believe in any prophecy fulfillments, and Judgement day, are also mental.

What I find interesting is that the "demons" he always cast out were actually diseases or afflictions: leprosy, blindness, deafness, epilepsy. Nothing demonic about those.

The fact that Jesus said "I have cast out a demon" instead of "I have cured epilepsy" leads me to believe that he was not God incarnate, otherwise he would have known what the hell he was curing.
What I find interesting is that you pretend to know what he did and what he said based on narratives written decades later by folks who arguably never met the man.

YOU DECIDE.
If you believe in the virgin birth and the resurrection then, obviously, NO.

But if you do not believe these things, i.e., if you reject the accuracy of these narratives, we are confronted with a much different question:

Why would someone childishly pick and choose other bits of text and assume their accuracy solely for the purpose of ridiculing Christianity? One wonders what kind of disorder this might represent.

Even though they will deny it, for that time, YOU WERE. People don't understand mental illness. It's not necessarily being ill, it's more like being sucked into a different REALITY. The world changes, you SEE things you weren't aware of and often, your AMAZED.
Religion is like mental illness. There the animal level and their is the higher level, The animal level doesn't understand morality. The higher level, the level of counciousness BURSTS on you and your bedazzled by the glow of God. Your eyes are BLINDED by the Light, and for that time, as brief as it is, tme has no meaning. Life has no meaning. Space has no meaning.
You stand at the pinnacle of human experience. And for that time, that brief, brief time, your existence is joyful. JOY ! Savor it. Enjoy it. Soon you have to return to the slum of living an animal existence.

And yet you pretend to know what Jesus said and did and, when called on it, deflect the question with your irrelevant and underwhelming reference to the Torah.

In case you have not put 2+2 together, I am a deist and reject revealed religions and divine revelation. I do not pretend to know what Jesus thought or said and would be indifferent to it regardless.

The same will be said of Moses , Muhammad and anyone else.
