I can't help it! All I ever get to wear are hand-me-downs, and as one of my brothers grew up to be a bullseye, and the other a flashing arrow to stop traffic, what do you EXPECT me to get?

I'll go ahead and post how the game works, etc... for the newcomers. Hopefully we'll have a couple more here in the next day or two so we can start.
Say there are 12 people in the game. Most will be villager/citizens and a few of them will have special roles. There is also MAFIA. Usually it is 4 MAFIA members and the rest are villagers with 3 of them being special roles: the bodyguard, the doctor, and the PI (private investigator).
The object of the game is for the MAFIA to kill all the villagers and for the villagers to figure out who the MAFIA is and kill them. Basically: villagers vs MAFIA. At the begining of the game, everybody is told who they are. The MAFIA is also told who the other MAFIA members are. Thus, only the MAFIA knows who is MAFIA and who the villagers are.... though they don't know who the doctor/bodygaurd/PI are.
When the game starts, the host is killed (that'd be me this time). Then the players must decide who should hang for killing me. It takes 3 accusations to put somebody on trial. A vote to accuse somebody counts as a GUILTY vote for that person. When somebody is put on trial, all the players vote GUILTY or NOT GUILTY. It is a majority rule.
If somebody is voted NOT GUILTY, then they are off trial and then accusations must happen again. Once somebody on trial (3 accusations - first to recieve 3) is convicted by a majority of GUILTY votes; that person is hung and their game is done. The person who is hung will have their true identity revealed to all players and then night comes. When night comes:
The MAFIA will choose one MAFIA player to kill another player.
The PI will be allowed to ask the true identity of another player.
The BodyGuard will choose who to protect durring the night, including themselves; but only ONE PERSON! If the person the bodyguard protects is the one who the MAFIA tries to murder then that person is safe and not killed. Usually it means the MAFIA member who was making the hit is killed (though in this game with few players, it only means the player the MAFIA tried to kill will live and the MAFIA member will not be killed either)
The doctor will choose who to "doctor" should the MAFIA try to kill them. The doctor cannot protect themselves. If the person the doctor chooses to watch over is tried to be killed by the MAFIA, the MAFIA hit will be unsuccessful. That person will be saved by the doctor, but won't be allowed to vote in the next days trial.
So after the MAFIA, bodyguard, PI, and doctor PM me about what they wish to due durring the night: then day will break. At day break, what happened durring the night will be revealed to all: that may be a murder, an attempted murder with the bodyguard or doctor saving that person, and the PI will get a PM about the true identity of who they wished to know about. The only name that is publically revealed to all players is the person who was murdered or had an attempt made upon their life..... though it will be said if it was the doctor or the bodyguard who saved them.
So when day breaks, we repeat the process. Accusations as to who is to blame are made. Then a trial (or many) till a player is hung and their true identity revealed. Then night will fall again, etc.....

Hey all, I'll leave this open for one more day. If no more takers, I'll take the 9 or 10 we have now and get the PMs out to you so you know who you are. Then I'll start the game thread on Friday morning. I'd start it tomorrow night, but I barely made it home tonight with the roads up here.

Sorry for the delay everybody. I got called into work yesterday since nobody could make it in, then I got stuck at work all night, worked today, and finally made it home! I guess 27 inches of snow in 48 hours will cause that. I will be home all weekend since they haven't plowed most of the roads yet; so I will draw names and PM you all, then I'll start the game thread and link it here for you to get to it.
