Does the Priest who opts out of manifesting the Will of Set never master the Black Flame?
At what point does a Setian make contact with his Xeper?
Does the Xeper have a Will that is in any way separate?

1. From what I understand an Initiate of the Priesthood of Set is in agreement with Set's Will 99% of the time.

2. The Word Xeper is an Egyptian verb meaning "To Become" or "To Come Into Being". It is an Action on the part of the Initiate of self-directed self-evolution and is the motivating factor of the Setian.

Is there a greater Will or not?


Do you mean that through mastery of the Black Flame your will becomes identical with the Will of Set?

Over the years I've had the opportunity to meet with some members of the Priesthood of Set. The ones I've met with seem like regular folk on the surface, however, one does get the sense that there is something different about them.

I've never seen any thing like a Priest III* being subject to some greater Will. Rather I think the will of the Priest and the Will of Set are more in collaboration with one another. A collaboration among equals, though one (Set) is far more intelligent and ancient than the other.

The Priesthood of Set III*+ has a sacred responsibility to teach and advise First and Second Degree Initiates, but Set has also placed the care and dignity of His Earthly Temple in their hands. And seeing as the Temple of Set has been the worlds leading Initiatory School of the Black Arts since 1975, I think the Setian Priesthood has done a damn good job.:clap Sure the ToS has had its ups and downs over the years, but like a cat it has always managed to land on its feet.

I agree, Magic is all around us. People use it every day of their lives, most without even realizing it. Those attending a mass are participating in a White Magical ritual. The man or woman dressing extra professionally and going that extra mile to get that promotion are actually using a form of Lesser Magic on their boss - manipulation, the command-to-look. Billboards, advertisements, all forms of LBM. Magic is everywhere both LBM and GBM, but it takes one with a hightened sense of Awareness to See it - the Sorcerer/Sorceress themselves.

Thats really interesting you say that... a few months ago my mate was working with this other woman who happened to be pregnant(4-5 months in). This pregnant woman constantly harassed my girlfriend and really made her angry. So my girlfriend keeps thinking and saying "i hope your ******* kid dies" and a few weeks later the fetus ceased to exist. Maybe it was just coincidence but its still odd it happened.

I'll further this odd synchronicity. I've witnesses such curious events play out in my own life experience as well.
