Magic: The Gathering

Ahhh! Well, as it happens, the booster packs include handy-dandy cards with the Magic backing, where you can tick or cross the box on the list to show which card it represents. On the other hand, you could always get card sleeves that don't show the back.

Like so:

Of course, it's also a good idea to keep the actual card on hand, so you can prove that 1) you actually have the card, and 2) the card works the way you say it does :D

I think the last time I played Magic is when the cards still had the white borders on them. Wouldn't mind picking it up again, though.

I'm not sure if they still do it, but I remember the white bordered cards were ones that came from the starter sets (got a bunch from 7th edition from starters). Granted, I started playing during the Invasion block (6th edition) so I can't confirm or deny that prior editions had white borders.

Does anyone else here play Magic? It's been a long time since I played(2006, and for Magic that;s a log time things changes). I want to get back into it been playing online over XBox and MTGO. I even spent some $ and got me a box of Boosters of the New set Rise of the Eldrazi. and by some I mean $100. But yeah....
Anyone? ^_^
I used to play it on the playstation.
The first Playstation.
But then my Playstation wore out.
So I got a new Playstation (the thin PoS) and played until the Playstation over heated and melted my disc.
now i do not play because i have neither a Playstation or an unmelted game disc.

All starter decks are black now I think, or at least that's how it was when I was working back at a comic book shop that sold them back in 2000.

I've been playing off and on for over a decade. Only with real cards though, not on electronic games and such.

I've played just about every sort of deck. I prefer control or aggro/control decks the most.
