Magick, Magic, magik

For me I don't see anything supernatual about magick it more communication & cooperation of many consciousness. Magick is a byproduct of the natural universe. As the spark of intelligence, or consciousness they make up the universe & interact & communicate. Based on this communication they resond to each other & can choose to cooperate towards a common end.

I do believe that this is the work of the Gods I worship.

How would you define magick?

what does it mean to you?
The art and science of learning to perceive and manipulate natural energies purposely.

Do you see magick as different to mysticism, if so what is the difference?
Yes. Magic is manipulation of reality, whereas mysticism is the search for understanding of that reality. While they often go hand-in-hand, they are not the same thing.

To me magic is simply a life process, much like breathing. As you would seek to improve your pysical strength in order to achieve a goal, so should you seek to with magic also. As for my belief in magic, that should have by now become apparant.

I am a Catholic mystic as well as a Christian magus/witch... I don't like the thought that YHVH is the grand illusion, but have always thought of IT as the supreme web of force holding the illusion in place. Most neo-pagan and Wiccan authors actually admit that the 'god' and 'goddess' are actually illusions to better aquaint one with the energies of the Divine ONE. As such, Mysticism is the path to our cosmic reality/consciousness, while magick, or the great work is our means by which we effect change in our observable world in which we live and think... I am fairly certain that this falls in line with what is taught in new age/ neo-pagan circles.
