Main Campaign Theme Difference Between Trump & Harris

And trump wants to increase them by 10 or 20 percent for anything made overseas and 60% on things made in China. Trump's policies and proposals will not make them cheaper. Look around your kitchen or living room and find anything smaller than a chair that is made in the USA, and I wouldn't be too sure about your furniture either.

Exports from China had a profound effect on U.S. furniture manufacturing. In 1994, China exported $241 million worth of wood furniture to the United States. By 2004, that figure had grown more than seventeenfold, to $4.2 billion. By 2016, 73.5 percent of all furniture sold in America was imported.

Now if you make a few hundred thousand dollars through restaurant furniture a year, you could probably afford to spend 5000$ on a good American made dining room table but somehow, I doubt that is the case.
the prices on things nowadays are just fantastic

Yes, and it speaks to the personalities of the folks in each camp.
Indeed it does.

Not to derail the thread, but I notice the same thing with religion. Where angry, vengeful, violent people worship an angry, vengeful, violent concept of God. While gentle, kind, and forgiving people worship a gentle, kind, and forgiving idea of God. Lonely people worship a God as an invisible friend, and do on.

We humans tend to see and admire the world as a reflection of ourselves. And I feel sad for those who see themselves in Trump, or Trump as a reflection of their own best qualities. Yikes!!

10 dollar loaves of bread is already a reality now in places.
And a vote for Trump isn't going to change the price at the little artisanal bakery in that high price neighborhood you so despise, his policies might raise it as their main effect is to give the people living there more money while taking it from us so they'll even buy an 11 dollar loaf.

And take back 10 times as much through tariffs unless you are in the top 1% or so. Not to mention all of his tax cuts are just borrowing money that you will have to pay back with interest in 10 years.

Yes he has made promises, but he won't tell you what they mean.
We have both Trump's and Harris's records, while in office, and if each do the same after, as before, only Trump's plan brings prosperity. The Harris plan is to over spend on the radial left wish list, and escalate inflation. She is not verbalizing a different plan, since there is not one. The goal is just another Lefty spending spree on other pet projects Biden could not get. This is not for the American people but for a Lefty Agenda. They wanted to spend $7 trillion on green energy, which would have made things twice as bad as it did. What saved the day, was because one Democrat broke lockstep; Senator Manchin. The DNC did not care about the pain, as long as they got their agenda. The morons will try again, which is why Harris is silent on her intent and cannot agree a fake counter position very well.

Part of what caused inflation was the DNC targeting fossil fuels. Green energy alone cannot meet the energy needs of the USA, period. However, the DNC needed to inflate the cost of fossil fuels, to pretend that electric cars and green energy were more efficient. They could not compete with the Trump era gasoline prices; $1.90 gallon. But once the boneheads inflated fossil fuels, to make electric and green appear more cost effective, all aspect of the economy inflated, since fossil fuel and its energy generation is still central to manufacturing, offices, transpiration, etc.

Trump wants to get these fossil fuel prices and costs down, which then will jumps start the economy. This will cause all the prices of everything to fall, since with the energy costs less, everything is now cheaper to make. This simple change will be like a cost of living increase for everyone, from business owner to worker; extras money in everyone's pocket. Each paycheck will go farther.

The problem for Harris is although this may make sense, the radical Left has hated Big Oil since, forever. They will not agree to do the right thing thing for the American people, by helping their nemesis; oil, which if made cheaper can then undermine the artificial electric car boost. Electric car demand is already falling and will go down even more, if Trump also gets rid of tax payer funded free charging. Free market charging will add a cost that is now paid by taxes.

This is why Harris is avoiding answering and committing to anything. Her path to success, without lowering fossil fuels costs, is a harder road ahead, especially since her side also hates the free market, and therefore did not take the time to learn how it works. All they will have is Big Government interference, leading to another set of disasters. A Government, with -20% rate of return, due to the interest on the national debt, is poison to the economy.

Trump said he will commission Elon Musk to help Government become more efficient. This will also help with prosperity. Harris and DNC prefer bloated government, which is drain on the economy. There is only one choice; For the people; vote Trump.

And what exactly is Trump's plan to bring down the prices at the supermarket? Tariffs?
From the movie, The Displeasure Of Sierra Maga.
Voter: "If you're to be president, where are your plans?"
Trump: "Plans? We ain't got no plans. We don't need no plans. I don't have to show you any stink'n plans!"

This is what happens when 90% of all the bakeries in the country are owned by the same three mega corporations through a litany of shell companies. And all the grocery stores are owned by the same three giant corporations that own all the other food manufacturer's products on the shelves in those stores. Americans are still wallowing in this fantasy delusion about capitalist competition and free markets because we see all the different names on all those different products, and we think they are all competing for our grocery money. But we're a bunch of naive fools. The last thing any good capitalist wants to do is compete with the other capitalists. Competition wastes capital. What they all want is a captive monopoly. No competition in a market where we have to buy, to survive. Mmmm BABY! That's where the profits are! And the way to do that is to simply buy up all the competition while leaving the appearance that they are still autonomous businesses. You know ... for us dupes. That way they can all charge whatever we can afford, and we'll have to pay it. So they get rich and keep us broke. Like parasites.

And they're buying up all those businesses with our retirement money. With our savings. So we can no longer afford to retire. And we're so busy blaming the "other team's politicians" that we don't see any of this going on. Don't even care!

Do you ever buy groceries?
Even ultra-expensive Zingerman's
artisanal breads are less than $10.
