Making a Mockery of John 3:16

I won't quote the scripture since every Christian should have it memorized.

The leader of the group "Patriot Prayer" has been arrested for felony riot (?) In the KOIN news story about him, he has John 3:16 plastered on a T Shirt he is wearing. He and his group have been in brawls here in Downtown Portland. It mystifies me how he can justify his and his groups actions?

My own Son was a member of a Southern group called Dominionist Christians, there were times when it seemed like he would kill me because of his views.

Not picking on Christians. I know that some Muslims are the same way. I don't have specific information on Jewish groups like that.

This is all very discouraging. I am sure that God is very disappointed.

It is very discouraging and I think it is a mockery of God's word. I don't think Dominion theology can be supported from the scriptures at all.

I always find it funny that Christians seem to only focus on 3:16 and not all the speech around it, aka John 3:11-21.

Portland is just a violent place lately.

Here is Rose City Antifa attacking an elderly gentleman for simply driving home. Dunno why they thought their unpermitted street protest overrides peoples freedom to move about but meh.

Of course the Mayor is complicit and has ordered the police to not arrest antifa members.

Portland police union president is asking to be allowed to his job and hire more cops but the mayor and city council refuse.

Here he is talking about the mayor and other city leadership allowing the city to become a cesspool because they won't let the cops do their jobs.

So yeah if the elected officials refuse to do their job you will see citizens stand up and do it.

Citizens of Portland need to demand the police be allowed to do their job and start arresting these scumbags.

I agree completely !!! One of the issues has been that these people do not live in Portland, or even Oregon for that matter. I think they come here because they know the government is a soft touch.

I rode over to the Hawthorne Bridge, right at the edge of things and it seemed quiet at 8:30 PM. I won't be going out tomorrow, I'm on the 4th floor.
