I thank God for bringing me to this place, where my brothers and sisters are gathered to share their feelings.
I will promise to endeavor never to offend anyone. If I should offend you in some way please let me know in a private message and I will apologize.
I am here as a seeker as I imagine many of you are. I am also new to computers and the internet and am having a little trouble navigating the terminology of this site ie; frubals and how to post a new thread, but at least I finally found out how to introduce myself.:)

There are many great thinkers here and I am glad for it. I am a fifty year old Catholic woman,( fifty, gosh howd that happen?). I love many types of music, from classical, oldies, new age, some rap, jazz, native american, buddist, gregorian chants, african, and opera, to name a few.
I love to hear other peoples points of view about religion and spirituality. I am particularly interested in Native American spirituality. For some reason I think the Indians, as we call them, have a great insight.
I hope to meet you all in the forums. Blessings to you all, beloved.

Joyfully in Jesus,

Martha

Nice to meet you Martha. May I ask.....what is one or more things you have learned from native american religion and from buddism and how did you (do you) apply it to catholicism?
